Biography
Anthony Ebuka Victor (born January 5, 2001) is best recognized as Victony.
He is one of Nigeria’s freshest and fast-rising artists from Imo state. He’s a singer, rapper, and songwriter signed into Mainland BlockParty and Jungle Records.
He started his musical life during his teenage age as a rapper and later had to switch his way to singing. He has been doing effortlessly good and delivering hit songs since he came into Limelight.
He came into the spotlight after He released his singles, titled “Broken” and Sing My Song (S.M.S.), which He delivered with both singing and a rap verse. He dropped his debut E.P. “Saturn” on August 28, 2020, of which he featured Nigeria’s famous rapper, Falz.
The E.P. was hugely accepted both in Nigeria and wide.
Early Life
The 21 years old AfroPop Singer was born into the family of Mr&Mrs Anthony somewhere in Lagos state known as Ojo, where he spent his formative years. He was born into a middle-class family; He was not so open to expensive and extravagant lifestyles but was surrounded by rich Music. Being born in Lagos gave him a pave and also influenced his kind of Music. He stated that his musical life was influenced by top Nigerian artists like Olamide, Falz, M.I Abaga, and more.
His parent was a massive support to his new-found career, and they always encouraged and supported him in any way possible. He recorded his first song, “Ina The Benz,” as his introductory song to the music industry. Although he had just a few people listening to it, as He hadn’t garnered many fans yet, but those who heard him admired his voice.
Education
Victony is currently a student at The Federal University of Owerri in Imo state, where he’s currently studying Petroleum Engineering.
Career
Victony, at his teenage age, having mastered his voice and with his parent’s support, began Music at an early age. After several freestyle and practices, he recorded his first song, “Ina The Benz,” which didn’t do much, but his voice was appreciated.
Soon He was characterized among the likes of Rema and Alpha P with his momentous flows and being one of the youngest rappers on the block.
Victony became a success in the Industry and got signed into Mainland BlockParty & Jungle Records.
Victony released his first debut E.P. as a singer, “Saturn,” under the record label. The 6-track E.P. was a massive breakthrough for Victony. “Maria” off the E.P. in which he featured Falz did massively well and earned him several streams, Fans, and Airplay.
In 2021, He released broken, which went viral; this solidified his stand in the Afropop industry and opened up more extensive opportunities to perform in more extraordinary places.
His biggest hit came after He got featured on Mayorkun’s “Holy Father” project. The song was number one on Apple Music and third on the billboard top thriller global chart.
On May 6, 2022. He dropped another studio work, his second E.P., and titled it “Outlawz.” The project came out successful and gained top positions on Apple Music. “Apollo” and “Kolomental” on the track did so well, garnering many streams and still counting. Victony has worked with many influential artists in Nigeria, including Burna Boy. He was featured on Burna Boy‘s studio album, Love Damini and was also seen rapping with Ladipoe on ‘Revival Mode.’

Personal Life
April 21, 2022, was a sad one for the family of Anthony as Victony was involved in a crucial accident. It was a fatal accident that took out the life of his friend, Doyin.
Victony was fortunate to get out alive but badly injured. His condition was terrible, and he needed emergency surgery to save his life. The news came very shockingly to his fans, and the internet was flooded with prayers. A Gofoundme account was opened to support his surgery bill, and there was a massive turn-up from fans and loved ones.
The surgery was successful, but He couldn’t walk and needed time to heal properly.
He stood to his feet for the first time after his surgery at Davido’s concert as He performed Holy Father alongside Mayorkun on December 24, 2021.
Victony is currently single and does not flaunt any woman on social media.
He is signed to a Nigerian label, Mainland BlockParty and Jungle Records.
