Biography
Sulaimon Shekoni Abiola (born in 2005), officially known as Khaid, is the newest and first signee into Neville Records, owned by a renowned Nigerian Influencer and entrepreneur, Sydney Talker. Khaid is an Afrobeat Singer, Rapper, and Songwriter currently thrilling the music industry with his AfroFusion. His extraordinary ability to blend his trap genres with Afro has helped the youngster make a name and made him stand out in the Nigerian industry.
Early Life
The 17years old Superstar hails from the Western part of Nigeria but was born and brought up in Ojo, Lagos state, into a family of ten. He spent his formative years in Lagos, where he resides with his parent and siblings. Khaid began working as a mechanic before he got noticed by Sydney Talker, one of the top Nigerian comedians and social media influencers. They fell in love with his sound and the fact that he was very young and talented.
Career
Khaid actually began his musical career at a younger age. He was always caught thrilling his classmate and friends in the neighborhood with rap and freestyle. He attended some talent shows, went to competitions, and did covers of some popular trending songs. He started making music entirely after secondary school. With the help of social media, His short song videos online on different social media platforms got to people’s ears. He started posting and tagging some of the influential celebrities in Nigeria, including Sydney Talker, Who later discovered his undercover talent and decided to take him in.
After living with him for some time, Sydney decided to make Khaid his first signee to his newly created Record label, “Neville Records.” After he had been with him for about a year, he officially made Khaid his first signee into the record label on January 2022.
He released his first debut single, “With you,” on January 28,2022. The song was produced by Ozedikus mixes and mastered by SWAZ and STG. He got a lot of love from the music. It was gradually topping and got a lot of airplay and streams on the visual.
It actually opened up opportunities to perform in top places and countries.
He released his debut six-track EP “Diversity “on May 27,2022. “Ski” and “With you” tracks of the EP did massively on the project with lots of love and lots of streams and admire for the fact that he’s able to blend trap rap with AfroPop.
Personal Life
Khaid is currently 17 years old and living in Lagos island with his record boss. He is the newest kid in the industry and a fast rising artist who is currently blooming the AfroFusion with his incredible Trap flows.
He grew up with his parent along with his seven other siblings who are also doing better.
Khaid is presently single due to the fact that he hasn’t posted any girl claiming her to be his girl yet.
He is currently signed to Neville Record owned by Sydney Talker. Khaid is a lover of fashion and has a great and high taste towards fashion
