Following the tragic and untimely passing of the former CEO of Access Bank, Herbert Wigwe, who tragically lost his life in a fatal helicopter crash along with his wife, son, and several others, the Access Bank of Nigeria has solemnly announced the appointment of a new acting CEO.

Ms. Bolaji Olaitan Agbede, a seasoned professional who has served as the Group Head of Human Resources at Access Bank Plc, has been officially appointed as the acting CEO. With a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the bank’s operations, Ms. Agbede steps into this role with a commitment to uphold the legacy of Access Bank and steer the institution through these challenging times.
