Faustina Charles Mfinanga (born on November 9, 1992) is a highly acclaimed and influential figure in the East African entertainment industry. She has captured the hearts of many as a multi-talented artist, recognized for her exceptional skills in singing, songwriting, and acting. Under her stage name, “Nandy,” she has become a household name throughout East Africa, leaving an indelible mark on the region’s music and film scene. She is also known as Nandera, where she got her stage name Nandy.
Nandy, currently 31, was born and raised in Moshi, Tanzania. She was raised and nurtured in a close-knit family where her early years were infused with the sounds of local music and the beauty of her surroundings.

Nandy attended Mawenzi Primary School before moving on to Lomwe High School, where she actively participated in the school choir and eventually became the school choir director. After graduating high school, she enrolled in the College of Business Education (CBE) in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Nandy’s remarkable journey in the music industry began when fate brought her in contact with Ruge Mutahaba, the CEO of Tanzania House of Talent.
