Early Life
Nandy, currently 31, was born and raised in Moshi, Tanzania. She was raised and nurtured in a close-knit family where her early years were infused with the sounds of local music and the beauty of her surroundings.

Nandy was born to her mother, Mary Charles, a tailor, and her father, Charles Mfinanga, a mechanic. She began performing at a young age. She was an enthusiastic member of her Sunday school choir at the Lutheran church in Moshi when she was five years old.
Nandy attended Mawenzi Primary School before moving on to Lomwe High School, where she actively participated in the school choir and eventually became the school choir director. After graduating high school, she enrolled in the College of Business Education (CBE) in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
