She was born into a middle-class Christian family in Ijero, Ekiti State, Nigeria. Not much detail is known about her mother, Mercy Bolanle, but her father is a History professor and storyteller with some of his tales used in African motion pictures. She grew up alongside her five siblings, including the DJ Charlie and Abimbola Omo Oba, the two popular ones.

Growing up, She attended Omolete School, Ijero. She excelled in her studies and graduated with her first school certifications. She completed her secondary education at Future Asset International College before furthering her educational aspiration at Ekiti State University (EKSU), where she obtained a Degree in English.
