In 2024, Haley achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first Indian American to be appointed to a presidential cabinet position. She is currently a contender in the 2024 Republican Party presidential primaries, running alongside former President Donald Trump.

Since then, she has remained actively engaged in public discourse, often offering commentary on pertinent political matters.
