Fola Evans Akingbola was born in London to a socialist mother, Gillian Evans, and her father, Sola Akingbola, a notable figure in the Nigerian music industry.
Growing up in the vibrant neighbourhood of Bermondsey, Fola received her education at Alleyn’s School in Dulwich, graduating in 2012. Encouraged by her supportive upbringing, she pursued her childhood passion for acting. At an early age, she became a member of the National Youth Theatre, where she underwent training in acting, laying the foundation for her future career in the entertainment industry.
Despite initially taking a hiatus to focus on her academic pursuits, Fola eventually returned to her true passion.
