Biography
Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu (born January 30, 1995) is widely known as Sabinus. He is also well recognized as MrFunny and sometimes called MumuMan.
Sabinus is known to be one of the funniest comedians in the comedy space in Nigeria with his expressive and creative comedy skills. He is also an actor and a content creator. He’s currently transcending the comedy chart with his creative talents.
Early Life & Education
Sabinus, who is also recognized as MrFunny, was born into the family of Mr&Mrs Ejekwu, Somewhere in Rivers state. Sabinus grew up and finished his primary and secondary education in Rivers State.
He also furthered his education and graduated with a degree in Linguistic and communication at the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT).
Career
Sabinus began his comedy career at the university in 2015 after He got noticed during the Student Union week after his performance. He started by posting skits on his official Instagram platform. He began gaining the attention of Tunde Ednut, BasketMouth, and many more.
He stated that Mr. Ibu and Charles Inogie were the sources of his inspiration. He started imitating a similar display put up by the two actors in movies. He also found himself funny and began dropping some funny skits on the media space through his ability to entertain anyone who watched his videos. Soon He got so popular and became everyone’s favorite comedian. With his funny facial expression and creative skills, He was able to gather a lot of fans, locally and internationally.
Sabinus also featured in the Nigerian Film industry and has acted alongside some prominent Nigerian actors like Zubby Michael, Olaedo Daniel, Regina Daniel, Gabbi Bugatti, and many others. He has starred in various movies, including Man of War, Billionaire’s Bride, and many more.
Sabinus has proven himself as one of the comedians here to stay for a more extended period as He is still outshining the comedy chart and standing out among many competitors.
Award
Sabinus won the Best Online Comedian Award in 2019 and again Won the Best Online Creator in 2022 held in Lagos stelae at Africa Magic show.

Sabinus is possibly in a relationship but hasn’t flaunted or shown any lady on his social media page to be his girlfriend or wife-to-be.
He hasn’t shown if He has any siblings yet, and His personal life is kept private from the media.
