Biography

Regina Daniels (born October 10, 2000) Is a prolific Actress and Film Producer in the Nigerian Nollywood industry and also a businesswoman and an entrepreneur. She is a famous face in the movie industry and has appeared in many Nigerian movies. She is the daughter of a prominent personality in the movie industry, Rita Daniel, and the 6th Wife of a Nigerian Senator and Business Mugul, Ned Nwoko.

Early Life

The young celeb was born to Barrister Jude Ojegwu and Rita Daniel, who was already an actress and very well grounded in the movie industry. The 22 years old actress was born in Lagos state but grew up in Asaba, Delta state, alongside her siblings. Her mom introduced her to movie acting at a very early age. She was just seven when she began acting and shot into the limelight in 2010 when she was featured in a movie titled ‘Miracle Child.’ She made her first earning in acting with the sum of ten thousand naira.

She had always shown enthusiasm for acting, won hearts, and surprised everyone when she was qualified to act. Although, She already had the upper hand in the filming industry, who was her mom. Her mother, who was a senior actress and well experienced in the industry and the president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), played a vital role in ensuring she came out glistening. Regina grew up featuring in several movies through her mother’s connection and power. She was loved in the industry due to her readiness and ability to execute the expected role. She also produced several movies and achieved a lot for herself.

Education 

 She later relocated with her family to Asaba, where she completed her primary and secondary education, after which she studied in one of the prestigious schools’ Hollywood International Schools, Asaba, Delta state.

Career

Regina‘s career was overseen by her mom, who was more or less like her manager. She was mainly featured in emotional movies at a younger age. Her first debut movie “Miracle Child” was nominated and won the Award for ‘The Best Child Actress at the African Movie Academy Awards and again as The Promising Actress in Nigeria at the African Magic Viewers Choice Awards. At a tender age, she became the most admired actress. 

Aside from acting, Regina has received several endorsements. She was appointed Atiku Abubakar’s youth coordinator in 2019. She signed an endorsement deal with ’30 over 30,’ a wig store popular in the country, in 2020. 

She launched a Magazine named after her in 2020 at a hotel in Abuja.

Personal Life

Regina is leaving with her Husband, Ned Nwoko, with their two kids. She got married to Ned Nwoko on April 1,2019. Although she was entirely criticized by fans and even Her father for agreeing to marry someone who was 39 years older than her. 

Her father never agreed to her getting married to Ned Nwoko. But the marriage took place anyway, even without the father’s consent. Her mother was in support of it, and the traditional marriage took place

 in Her mother’s family compound.

Her father had to reconcile with her daughter while she was at the Hospital for her first delivery. He was seen carrying His grandchild in the Hospital and giving her daughter his blessings.

On June 29, 2020, Regina gave birth to her baby boy, Her first child Munir also known as Moon.

Regina‘s second child was also born on June 29, 2022, the same day her first child was born. Ned Nwoko, the father of the two boys, first took to his social media to celebrate his first child and announced and welcomed the newest baby into the family.

Regina was born alongside other siblings. She has five other siblings, three brothers Samuel Daniels, Lawrence Daniels, and Emmanuel Daniels, and two sisters, Ifeoma Daniels and Destiny Daniels, all from the same parent.

Her Husband, Ned Nwoko, is a Nigerian Politician and a successful business tycoon.

The two got married in 2019 and took to social media to express their love after Regina had allegedly been rumored to have married him for money.

She told the world and her fans they’d been lovers for a while, then decided to tie the knot by getting married.
