Dorcas Fapson Shola (born January 4, 1991) is a young Nigerian Actress, entrepreneur, and Disk Jockey. She is a multifaceted and talented personality known professionally as DSF.
She gained prominence in the Tv series titled MTV Shuga, where she played the role of Sophie.
Early Life & Education
The Nigerian actress, widely recognized for her beauty, was born and spent her childhood and teenage years in North London. Her family was of Nigerian descent, with her parents being Mr. and Mrs. Fapson.
Unfortunately, the actress experienced a significant loss at a young age when her mother passed away when she was only 14 years old. Despite this challenging event, she was fortunate to have the support and guidance of her father, Mr. Fabson, who raised her independently.
Despite any challenges she may have faced, the actress has undoubtedly grown into a successful and talented individual, in no small part due to the love and care of her father.
Dorcas is an ambitious and driven individual who has always been focused on her education and personal development.
After completing her primary schooling in London, she decided to pursue higher education and enrolled at the University of Bedfordshire, where she earned a degree in Criminology.
However, Dorcas’s true passion has always been acting, and she knew she wanted to take her talents to the next level. So, after graduating from university, she decided to move to New York and enroll in an acting course.
Career
The young actress began acting in early 2016 when she officially entered the Nigerian acting industry.
She has been featured in several and multiple movies, including ‘Banana Island Ghost(BIG), where she featured along with Derin Adeyonkunnu and Bola Abi.
She has also worked with several prominent stars, including Chigul, Patrick Diabuah, Ali Nuhu, Rashid Kasirye, Nathaniel Thompson, Saheed Balogun, Tina Mba, Jemima Osunde, Uzoamaka Aniunoh, Lerato Walaza, Mohau Cele, Sthandiwe Kgoroge, Mamarumo Marokane, and others.
In 2019, Dorcas was coasted in the movie, which was titled, Essence.
And in 2020, she featured as Sophie in the series MTV Shuga.
Working as a Disc Jockey, she was given the opportunity by Davido to open his show at the O2 Arena.

Personal Life
Dorcas has been the subject of rumors regarding a possible romantic relationship with Wizkid, a well-known and highly respected musician in Nigeria. The rumors circulated after a picture of them was shared on the internet.
She was also rumored to be dating Timini Egbuson, whom she had worked with on the MTV Shuga series. She publicly denied these rumors, stating they were good friends and nothing more.
In 2018, she reported an incident where she claimed to have been almost kidnapped and raped by her taxify driver, whom she had ordered for a ride.
There is a controversy surrounding her name involving her stylist. The stylist claims that she has an unpaid debt related to a dress made for her to wear at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA). The stylist publicly aired their grievances on social media by dragging her name.
Dorcas was previously in a relationship with Skiibii, a well-known music star.
However, she recently took to social media to share accusations against Skiibii and stated that dating him was the biggest mistake of her life.
The couple had been together for a while, but they eventually broke up due to differences and issues that arose between them.
Dorcas also claimed that Skiibii had used Jazz on her during their relationship.
