Daniel Peter Masterson (born March 13, 1976: Age: 48 years) is a famous American actor and producer, best known for his role as Steven Hyde in the television series “That ’70s Show,” which aired from 1998 to 2006. Masterson has also appeared in TV shows and films, including “Men at Work” and “The Ranch. He is also recognized as Danny Masterson.

In 2020, Daniel Peter Masterson faced charges involving multiple counts of rape, with allegations from several women. In September 2023, he received a sentence of 30 years to life in prison. Notably, Masterson and his victims were members of the Church of Scientology at the time of the assaults.

Early Life

Materson was born and raised in Long Island, New York. He spent most of his formative years at Albertson, Garden City, and East Williston on Long Island with his family, his father,  Peter Masterson, and his mother, Carol Masterson

He grew up alongside his brother, who is also an actor, Christopher Masterson, and their maternal half-siblings, Jordan Masterson and Alanna Masterson, who are also actors, and his paternal half-brother, Will Masterson.

Personal Life

Masterson entered a romantic relationship with actress Bijou Phillips in 2004, tying the knot in 2009, leading to their marriage on October 18, 2011. The couple welcomed a daughter in February 2014.

However, on September 18, 2023, Phillips initiated divorce proceedings, citing irreconcilable differences. She requested full legal and physical custody of their child and spousal support in her filing.
